  • Community Acupuncture & Gentle Breathwork for Winter Resilience

    Friday, January 17th

    7-8pm | $60

Receive acupuncture in community while you are guided through relaxing breathing techniques to support you and your well-being relax into winter, the season of the exhale hold.

The combination of slow breathing techniques and acupuncture complement each other to restore overall well-being. The acupuncture treatment will focus on nervous system regulation, specifically activating the auricular (ear) branch of the vagus nerve, known for its calming effect. When the vagus nerve is functioning optimally, you can pick up the pace and slow down as needed so your body can rest into resilience instead of living in chronic pain and dysregulation.

Sarah blows a reed to show the precious power of an exhale

Sarah is the founder of Slo Breathworks and She combines years of training and experience in breathwork facilitation, yoga, sustainability, and leadership to offer workshops, and group and 1:1 experiences for workplaces to integrate breathwork into their day-to-day. While learned knowledge is important for the physiology and science of breathwork, it is the lived moments of practicing conscious breathing when anxiety, pain, and stress arise that motivate Sarah to guide slow breathing experiences designed to elicit discovery of our senses and surroundings.

"Sarah tailored her workshop to our work environment and addressed real scenarios of stress for our team members that we could practice grounding ourselves with the breath. It was very helpful for everyone to visualize, feel the stress of the moment and release through the breath."
